V2 - How to Stream Your EasyWebinar Live Event to Facebook

Looking to expand your reach by streaming your EasyWebinar live event directly to Facebook? This quick tutorial walks you through how to set up a custom RTMP connection to broadcast your webinar to your Facebook audience

Updated over a week ago

Step 1: Access the Integration Settings in EasyWebinar

Start by opening the webinar you want to stream inside EasyWebinar.
Navigate to Settings → Integrations and select the EasyCast feature.

⚠️ Note: EasyWebinar’s native Facebook integration is currently under development. In the meantime, you can use the Custom RTMP option to connect manually.

Step 2: Set Up Custom RTMP

Once you select Custom RTMP, you’ll be prompted to enter three details:

  • Stream Name – You can name this anything you like (e.g., “EasyWebinar Facebook Live Stream”)

  • Stream URL

  • Stream Key

The Stream URL and Stream Key are provided by Facebook — here’s how to find them.

Step 3: Get Your Stream URL and Key from Facebook

  1. Log in to your Facebook account.

  2. Select Live Video on your dashboard.

  3. Choose Go Live → Streaming Software.

  4. Under Streaming Setup, copy your Stream Key and Server URL (this is your Stream URL).

  5. Paste both details into EasyWebinar’s Custom RTMP fields.

Once added, your Facebook connection will appear under Connected Platforms in EasyCast.

Step 4: Go Live from EasyWebinar

Now it’s time to broadcast!

  1. Enter your Live Room in EasyWebinar.

  2. Select the EasyCast button.

  3. Choose the stream you just created and click Publish Stream.

You can now go live on EasyWebinar as usual. Within a few seconds, your live session will automatically start streaming to Facebook as well.

⏱️ Tip: Expect a slight delay of about 3–4 seconds between EasyWebinar and the Facebook feed — this is completely normal for RTMP streaming.

Step 5: Engage Your Facebook Audience

Once your stream is connected, simply click Go Live on Facebook.
Your webinar will now be broadcasting to your Facebook audience, allowing you to reach more viewers in real time.
