This guide walks you through the process of adding tracking codes to individual webinar pages.
Step 1: Access the Tracking Code Settings
Here, you can add tracking scripts to different pages within your webinar funnel.
Step 2: Add Your Meta Pixel or GTM Code to the Registration Page
To track visitor activity on your registration page:
Navigate to the Registration Page section.
Click Edit.
Copy your Meta Pixel or GTM code from the respective platform.
Paste the code into the Header section.
Click the checkbox to confirm and select Save.
Important: Always place your Meta Pixel or tracking script in the Header section to ensure it loads correctly.
Once saved, your tracking code will be added to the registration page.
Step 3: Add the Tracking Code to Other Webinar Pages
You can also add tracking codes to other pages in your webinar funnel by following the same process.
Supported pages include:
Thank You Page: Track visitors after successful registration.
Waiting Area: Monitor visitor activity before the webinar begins.
Webinar Page: Track engagement and page visits during the webinar experience.
Replay Page: Measure traffic and visitor activity on your webinar replay.
For each page, simply select the relevant section, click Edit, paste your code into the Header section, and save your changes.
Step 4: Track and Analyze Your Events
Once your tracking code is successfully added, supported events can be transmitted to your Meta account for analysis.
Depending on your pixel configuration, you can track events such as:
PageView: Monitor visits to your webinar pages.
Lead: Track successful registrations.
Custom Events: Monitor specific actions configured within your tracking code.
These insights help you understand visitor behavior, measure campaign performance, and optimize your webinar funnel.
Best Practices to Remember
Ensure that you copy the correct tracking code from Meta or Google Tag Manager.
Add the code to the Header section of each page you want to track.
Save your changes after adding or updating the code.
Verify that your tracking events are firing correctly using the respective platform's testing tools.
