How to Track Webinar Analytics, Audience Engagement, Leads, and Revenue

EasyWebinar Analytics gives you a detailed view of your webinar performance, helping you understand how visitors become registrants, how attendees engage with your content, and how your webinars contribute to revenue.

Whether you are hosting Live webinars or offering replays, you can use Analytics to monitor performance, identify audience behavior patterns, evaluate polls and offers, filter attendee data, and export reports for further analysis.

In this guide, you will learn how to navigate the Analytics section and use its key features to make data driven decisions that improve your webinar results.

Access Your Webinar Analytics

To get started, open the webinar you want to review and navigate to its Analytics section. EasyWebinar provides several sections to help you understand different aspects of your webinar performance.

Overview: Monitor overall performance and audience engagement.

People: Review individual registrant and attendee information, apply filters, and export contact data.

Revenue: Track purchases and revenue generated through the native Stripe integration for paid webinars.

Each section provides a different perspective on your webinar, allowing you to move from high-level performance metrics to individual attendee activity and revenue details.

Understand Your Webinar Performance in the Overview Section

The Overview section provides a summary of your webinar performance, including visitor activity, registrations, attendance, engagement, and offer performance.

Key Webinar Metrics

You can review metrics such as:

Visitors: The number of people who visited your EasyWebinar landing page.

Registrations: The number of people who registered for your webinar.

Live attendees: The number of people who attended the live event.

Replay viewers: The number of people who watched the webinar replay.

Show up rate: The percentage of registrants who attended the webinar.

Click-through rate: The percentage of people who clicked a tracked link or offer, as measured by the platform's reporting.

Revenue metrics: If you use the native Stripe integration for paid webinars, you can also review relevant revenue and purchase data.

These metrics help you understand how effectively your webinar attracts visitors, converts them into registrants, and encourages them to attend or watch the replay.

Tip: Review visitor, registration, and attendance trends together. If you receive many visitors but relatively few registrations, you may want to review your registration page. If registrations are strong but attendance is low, consider reviewing your reminder sequence and webinar schedule.

Track Daily Visitor and Registration Trends

EasyWebinar allows you to review daily trends for visitors and registrations. Use these insights to identify periods when interest in your webinar increases or decreases. This information can help you evaluate the impact of promotional campaigns, email outreach, and other marketing activities.

Analyze the Viewer Timeline and Engagement

The viewer timeline helps you understand how audience engagement changes throughout the webinar. Depending on the available reporting data, you can review insights such as:

Attendance and engagement events: Understand when viewers join and interact with your webinar.

High engagement periods: Identify sections where audience activity is strongest.

Drop-off points: Determine when viewers leave the webinar.

Estimated average watch time: Understand how long viewers typically stay engaged.

Growth periods: Identify periods of increased audience activity or engagement.

Use these insights to improve your presentation structure. For example, if many viewers leave during a particular section, consider making that section more concise, improving the transition, or introducing a more engaging example.

Review Poll, Offer, and Revenue Performance

The Overview section also provides insights into interactive elements and sales activity, including poll performance, offer performance, and revenue by offer.

Poll performance helps you evaluate audience participation in your webinar polls.

Offer performance helps you review how your webinar offers perform.

Revenue by offer helps you understand which offers contribute to your webinar revenue. These metrics can help you assess whether your content and calls to action are resonating with your audience.

Export Chat and Question Data

You can export chat related data from the Analytics area. You can also export questions and answers and filter the data by individual sessions. This is useful when reviewing audience questions, identifying recurring concerns, gathering feedback, or preparing follow up communications after a webinar.

Understand Where Registrations Come From

The Overview section provides a high level view of your registration sources. Use this information to understand where your audience is coming from and evaluate which promotional channels may be contributing to registrations.

Review Registrants and Attendees in the People Section

The People section provides individual-level information about the people who registered for your webinar. This section is particularly useful when you want to identify highly engaged leads, review attendance behavior, or export data for your sales and marketing teams.

View Registration and Attendance Details

For each registrant, you can access information such as their name and email address, watch percentage for the live webinar and replay, the session they registered for, and available attendance information. These details help you understand not only who registered, but also how they interacted with your webinar.

For example, a lead who watched most of your presentation may be more engaged than someone who registered but never attended. You can use this information to prioritize follow up activities.

View Detailed Information for an Individual Lead

To explore a registrant's activity in more detail, select the relevant person in the People section. Depending on the available session data, you can review additional information such as:

Watch duration: The amount of time the person spent watching the webinar.

Registration time: When the person registered.

Device information: The device used to access the webinar.

Attendance status: Whether the person attended the session.

Join timing: Whether the person joined early or late.

Session details: Information about the session associated with their registration and attendance.

This detailed view helps you better understand an individual's level of interest and engagement. For example, if someone watched a large portion of your webinar and interacted with your offers, you may want to prioritize that person for a timely follow up.

Filter People by Attendance and Engagement

The People section allows you to apply filters to narrow down your registrant data based on specific conditions. Instead of manually reviewing every registrant, you can use filters to identify the audience segments that matter most to your business.

Example: Find People Who Watched More Than 5% of Your Webinar

Follow these steps to filter people based on their watch percentage.

Open your webinar and navigate to Analytics, then select the People section. Add a filter condition and select the relevant viewing location, such as the main event room or replay room. Choose the watch percentage field, set the condition to Greater than, and enter 5% as the value. Apply the filter to view the matching records. This filter helps you identify people who watched more than 5% of the selected webinar experience. You can adjust the viewing location, condition, and percentage to match your reporting needs.

Track Webinar Revenue Through the Revenue Section

If you use EasyWebinar's native Stripe integration for paid webinars, you can review revenue-related information in the Revenue section. This section helps you understand the financial performance of your webinar, including revenue from paid registrations and offers.

Revenue Metrics You Can Review

Depending on the available transaction data, you can access metrics such as:

Total revenue: The overall revenue reported for the webinar.

Paid registration revenue: The amount collected from paid webinar registrations.

Offer revenue: The amount collected from webinar offers.

Total purchases: The number of purchases recorded.

Other revenue insights: Additional available metrics related to webinar transactions.

These metrics help you evaluate whether your webinar is generating sales and which parts of your funnel are contributing to revenue.

Use Revenue Data to Improve Your Sales Strategy

Review registration revenue and offer revenue separately to understand how your webinar generates income. For example, if many people register for a paid webinar but relatively few purchase additional offers, you may want to review your offer presentation, pricing, or calls to action. You can also compare revenue with attendance and engagement data to better understand how audience behavior relates to purchasing activity.

Note: Revenue reporting described in this section is available through the native Stripe integration for paid webinars. The metrics displayed may vary depending on your webinar setup and transaction data.
