Understanding Webinar Notifications
Navigate to the Notifications tab within your webinar to access two types of notifications.
Pre-Webinar Notifications
These emails are sent before the webinar to keep registrants informed and encourage attendance.
• Registration Confirmation: Welcomes registrants and provides important webinar details.
• Webinar Reminders: Reminds registrants about upcoming sessions. You can create multiple reminders and schedule them at your preferred intervals.
Post-Webinar Notifications
These emails are sent after the webinar to follow up with attendees based on their participation and actions.
• Webinar Follow Up: Sends emails to people who attended or missed the webinar.
• Attendee Action Follow Up: Targets attendees based on specific actions, such as viewing or clicking an offer.
Customize Registration Emails and Reminders
To edit a notification, enable it and click the pencil icon. You can customize the subject line, email heading, and message content.
Use available shortcodes to personalize emails and event links to direct registrants to the relevant webinar pages. Once you finish editing, save the notification. You can also send a test email to your registered email address to verify its content and formatting.
Repeat this process to create as many webinar reminders as needed, scheduling each one according to your communication strategy.
Automate Follow-Ups Using Audience Segmentation
EasyWebinar lets you target registrants automatically based on their attendance and engagement.
For example, you can create follow-ups for:
People who missed the webinar: Send an email 45 minutes after the session with a replay link.
People who attended: Schedule a follow up email three hours after the webinar to share additional information or encourage the next action.
Attendee behavior: Use Attendee Action Follow Up to target people who left early, did not see the offer, saw the offer but did not click, or clicked the offer.
These options help you deliver more relevant messages without manually sorting your audience.
Best Practices for Webinar Notifications
• Personalize your emails: Use available shortcodes to make messages more relevant.
• Schedule reminders strategically: Send timely reminders to help registrants remember their upcoming webinar.
• Follow up promptly: Share replay links with people who missed the session.
• Tailor messages to behavior: Use attendee segmentation to send relevant content and offers based on engagement.
• Test before sending: Send a test email to check your content and links.
