How to Configure Replay Settings, Expiry, Redirects, and Custom Replay Pages

EasyWebinar gives you complete control over how your webinar replays are presented, how long they remain available, and what happens when viewers finish watching or try to access an expired replay

Whether you want to create urgency with a limited-time replay, keep your content available indefinitely, redirect viewers to a specific page, or design a customized replay experience with new offers and calls to action (CTAs), you can manage everything from your webinar's Replay Settings.

Accessing Your Replay Settings

You can configure replay settings directly within the webinar you want to manage. Navigate to the Replay section to access the available options for replay availability, expiration, redirects, and page customization.

From here, you can decide whether to enable or disable the replay page and customize how viewers interact with your recorded webinar.

Enable or Disable the Replay Page

The Replay section allows you to control whether a replay page is available to your audience.

When the replay page is enabled, viewers can access your recorded webinar according to the availability and expiration rules you configure. Replay links can be shared through your webinar notifications, including email, SMS, and WhatsApp, depending on your notification setup.

If you disable the replay page, viewers will no longer have access to it through the standard replay experience. Before changing this setting, review any notifications or follow up messages that direct attendees to your replay.

Set Your Replay Expiration Rules

Not every webinar replay needs to remain available forever. EasyWebinar lets you choose how long viewers can access your replay, depending on your content strategy and business goals.

You can configure your replay availability in several ways.

1. Keep the replay available indefinitely

Choose an evergreen replay if you want viewers to access your recorded webinar without a predefined expiration date.

This option works well for educational content, product demonstrations, on-demand training, and webinars that generate leads over an extended period.

2. Expire the replay after a specific number of days

If you want to make your replay available for a limited period, you can specify the number of days it should remain accessible.

For example, you could make a replay available for three days after your webinar to encourage viewers to watch before access expires. This approach is useful for time-sensitive promotions, limited time bonuses, and follow up campaigns designed to encourage prompt action.

3. Set a specific expiration date and time

You can also choose an exact date and time for the replay to expire.

This gives you greater control when running promotions, launching products, or managing campaigns with a fixed deadline.

Tip: Choose an expiration rule that aligns with your marketing campaign and clearly communicate the replay availability period to your audience.

Configure Redirects for Your Replay

Redirects allow you to control where viewers go when they finish watching a replay or attempt to access it after it has expired.

EasyWebinar provides two redirect options.

Redirect viewers after the replay ends

You can specify an external URL where viewers should be sent after the replay finishes.

For example, you might redirect viewers to:

  • A product or service sales page

  • A booking page to schedule a consultation

  • A special offer or checkout page

  • A page with additional resources or next steps

To configure this, enter the destination URL in the redirect section for viewers who have completed the replay.

Redirect viewers after the replay expires

You can also configure a separate destination for viewers who try to access the replay after its expiration period has ended.

For example, you could direct them to your main website, an upcoming webinar registration page, or a page where they can explore your latest offers. This helps ensure that expired replay links continue to guide visitors toward relevant content instead of leaving them without a clear next step.

Best practice: Use redirects strategically to maintain a smooth viewer journey and guide your audience toward the next action you want them to take.

Choose Between a Webinar Replica and a Custom Replay Page

EasyWebinar allows you to control the appearance and content of your replay page. You can either replicate the original webinar experience or create a customized experience specifically for replay viewers.

Option 1: Use a webinar replica

A webinar replica recreates the original webinar experience for viewers watching the recording.

Depending on your original webinar setup, this can include the recorded video, offers, polls, and other interactive elements associated with the webinar. This option is useful when you want replay viewers to experience the same presentation and promotional content as live attendees.

Option 2: Create a custom replay page

If you want to deliver a different experience to replay viewers, you can customize the replay page with your own content and assets.

Depending on the available settings, you can:

  • Upload a different video for the replay experience.

  • Configure new calls to action (CTAs).

  • Add new polls and offers.

  • Adjust chat settings.

  • Customize the page to align with a specific campaign or audience.

For example, you could replace a general presentation with a product-focused recording, introduce a new offer, or add a booking CTA to encourage replay viewers to schedule a call.

A custom replay page is particularly useful when your post-webinar strategy differs from the experience you provide during the original live session.
