Integrating ConvertKit to EasyWebinar

ConvertKit CRM is one of the most widely used tools for syncing data with EasyWebinar. We will discuss API connections, and creating forms, tags, and custom fields.

Before we dive into the process, please log in to your ConvertKit and EasyWebinar accounts.

How to integrate ConvertKit and EasyWebinar using API key?

Step-1 Login to your ConvertKit account. Hover the mouse to the profile on the right side top corner click on the dropdown symbol and select 'settings' from the dropdown.

Step-2 The settings page will be displayed. Scroll to the bottom of the page. On the left panel, click on the 'Advanced' label.

Step-3 Scroll to the second heading i.e. API. Here you will have the API key and API secret(Click on 'show' to grab the API secret). The API key and API secret should be synced with EasyWebinar so that we establish an integration between both.

Step- 4 Login into your EasyWebinar account. Hover to the profile and select integrations from the drop-down.

Step -5 Select ConvertKit from the list of CRM available.

Step- 6 A page to input the API key and API secret will be displayed. Copy the API key and API secret from ConvertKit and paste the EasyWebinar as per the mandatory fields. Click on 'Add'.

You have successfully integrated the ConvertKit to EasyWebinar.

How to create Forms/Tags on ConvertKit and use them on EasyWebinar?

In ConvertKit, forms are nothing but lists. The functionality of forms are same as lists.

Now, let's see how to create forms on ConvertKit and sync them with EasyWebinar integration so that we can have a smooth data transfer.

Before, we begin please ensure that you are logged into your ConvertKit and EasyWebinar accounts.

Step-1 Open your ConvertKit account and hover the mouse to the left-hand top corner to find the 'Grow' tab. Click on the dropdown and select 'landing pages and forms'.

Step- 2 Once you land on the forms page. Scroll to the bottom and you will have default forms from ConvertKit. We will create a form by selecting the 'Create New' on the right.

Step- 3 The page will display two options. Form and landing page, select the form option. You can select the display format and template as per your choice.

Step 4 Make sure you give a name to the form. The right side panel allows you to modify the fonts, background, and templates.

Note: While working on the form be cautious to save your work using the save button on the right.

To check if your form is created or not, you can hover to Grow Tab----> Landing and Forms-----> Scroll down to see your form listed.

Now, we have the form created on ConvertKit. Let's use it form on EasyWebinar to capture the data.

Step 5 Login into your EasyWebinar account. Hover to the profile and select integrations from the drop-down.

Step- 6 Click on reload list to refresh the lists. From the drop down select the form you wish to flow the data.

Note: In case you did not find your form in the dropdown, reload the list again and wait for some time for the tools to be synchronized.
