EasyWebinar Global Settings: Profile, Team Management, and Custom Domains

The Global Settings area in EasyWebinar provides a central location to manage your account information, update your password, manage team access, monitor team seat usage, and configure your custom domain.

Accessing Global Settings

To access Global Settings, log in to your EasyWebinar account and click Settings in the left-hand sidebar. From here, you can access your account overview, profile information, team management options, and custom domain settings.

Account Overview

The Overview section provides a summary of your EasyWebinar account, including your account information and current team seat usage. This allows you to review your account details and monitor how many team seats are currently being used.

Managing Your Profile

The My Profile section allows you to keep your personal and business information up to date. You can update details such as your name, company name, phone number, and time zone.

Your EasyWebinar subdomain and custom domain settings are also accessible within this area. You can manage your configured subdomain or set up a custom domain to maintain consistent branding across your webinar pages.

To update your password, select Change Password, enter your current password, and then provide your new password as prompted.

General Settings

The General Settings section allows you to personalize your EasyWebinar dashboard by selecting your preferred language and adjusting the dashboard's appearance. You can also customize the dashboard theme to suit your visual preferences, helping you create a more comfortable and consistent experience while navigating the platform.

Handling Unsaved Changes

If you attempt to leave a settings page without saving your changes, EasyWebinar may prompt you to choose how to proceed:

  • Keep Editing: Return to the page and continue making changes.

  • Discard Changes: Leave the page without saving your latest updates.

  • Save and Continue: Save your changes before proceeding.

This helps prevent you from accidentally losing updates.

Managing Team Members and Access

The Team section allows you to view and manage the users who have access to your EasyWebinar workspace.

To add a new team member, click Add User and enter their name, email address, and password. You can then assign the appropriate role based on their responsibilities.

EasyWebinar provides two primary roles:

  • Admin: Provides broader access to account features and settings.

  • User: Provides access to essential features for everyday tasks, according to the permissions assigned to the role.

Choose the appropriate role for each team member and grant administrative access only when necessary.

You can also review your current team seat usage in the account overview to monitor how many seats are being used.

Adding Client Workspace Accounts:

Client Workspaces allow you to create and manage separate workspaces on behalf of your clients, each with its own subscription plan and access to features. This makes it easy to manage multiple client accounts independently while keeping them organized under your main EasyWebinar account.

Each client workspace operates independently of the main account in terms of its plan and feature access. As the main account holder, you are responsible for managing billing and can assign the appropriate subscription plan to each workspace based on the client's requirements. This gives you the flexibility to tailor each client's experience while maintaining centralized billing and account management.

Configuring a Custom Domain

EasyWebinar allows you to configure a custom domain so your webinar pages can reflect your brand identity.

To begin, open the Custom Domain section within Global Settings and follow the setup instructions. This typically involves adding the required DNS records through your domain hosting provider and completing any additional verification or SSL certificate configuration requested by EasyWebinar.

Please note that DNS propagation and SSL certificate validation may take some time. Follow the instructions provided during setup to ensure your domain is configured correctly.

Conclusion

The Global Settings area gives you centralized control over your EasyWebinar account. You can update your profile information, change your password, manage team members and permissions, monitor seat usage, and configure a custom domain, all from one place.
