This tutorial will guide you through the process of sharing a presentation and video during a live event using Google Slides.
Step 1: Prepare Your Google Slides Presentation 🎥
Begin by opening Google Slides and selecting the presentation you wish to share. Make sure that you are familiar with the file and the content you will present to your audience.
Step 2: Insert Videos 🎬 into Your Presentation
One of the standout features of Google Slides is its ability to integrate videos effortlessly. Here’s how to do it:
Select the Slide: Navigate to the slide where you want to add the video.
Insert Video:
Click on Insert in the top menu.
Select Video from the dropdown.
Choose Your Video Source:
If your video is stored on your device, upload it to Google Drive first. Once uploaded, select the video from your Google Drive.
Alternatively, you can paste a YouTube link directly into the dialog box.
Insert the Video: Click Select to insert the video into your slide.
⚠️Important Note:
It’s advisable to perform this step a few minutes before your presentation starts, as larger video files may take time to upload completely. We recommend taking a few minutes to practice in the Green Room before proceeding to the Live Room. This will help you avoid any last-minute issues and give you the opportunity to become familiar with the process.
Step 3: Verify Video Functionality ✔️
Once the video is inserted, take a moment to verify that it functions correctly. Play the video to ensure that both the visuals and audio are working as intended.
Step 4: Sharing Your Presentation
Now that your presentation is ready, it’s time to share it with your audience. Here’s how to do it using EasyWebinar:
Open Your Webinar Room: Navigate to your green/live room in EasyWebinar.
Share Your Screen:
Click on the Share Screen option.
Choose the Google Slides window to share.
Enable Audio Sharing:
⚠️Ensure the option to Share Tab Audio is enabled. This allows the audio from your video to be heard by your audience. ⚠️
Step 5: Enhance Visuals 🎨
For a better visual experience, you can expand the size of your presentation to fit the entire screen, providing a more immersive experience for your audience.
